We haven’t used the alarm system in over 3 months. We had a new back door installed and they had to dig out the sensor. We called Ackerman to have someone come out to install in our new door... We haven’t used the alarm system in over 3 months. We had a new back door installed and they had to dig out the sensor. We called Ackerman to have someone come out to install in our new door however Ackerman is going to charge us over $90 just to have a tech come out. It could be more depending on how the installation goes. We did not understand why we would be charged as it should be covered with our $100 plus we pay every quarter however they would not work with us and said we would have to pay these charges. Our contract runs out end of March 2019 and we will NOT be renewing
