I am very disappointed with Ackerman security! I started out with you guys back in 2012 at my house 5900 Bluegrass Vw Fairburn GA 30213 with 6 years of coverage I spent one year paying for services and the alarm was not being monitored I was told by technician when I got service when I realized that alarm went off and no response. I still continued with service and moved to 1108 Merrick Dr peachtree city GA 30269, on March 23rd 2018 at this location in March 2019 I received a collections letter that I owe $1600. I called the collection agency and they said Ackerman put me in collections and to contact Ackerman to get me out. I called several times and spoke with couple of CSR’s that said they would escalate, a month went by I didn’t receive a letter or call so I called Ackerman back to see if problem was resolved and CSR said yes the cleared account. I called collection agency and they confirmed that it was cleared out of my name. I still til this day didn’t received a letter or call from Ackerman apologizing or proof that I am clear only when I called and got a verbal confirmation.

> Still after that error I continued service and once again I tripped alarm in error and didn’t get a call. I called customer service and CSR trouble shooted with me and after 30 min unplugging and trying everything (she was an excellent rep) she still didn’t get signal and she said a signal has not been recorded for over 4 months. So from March 2019 until the day I called in July 2019 I had no service and was paying. I got technician to fix and when technician came he let me know that signal was not coming out of alarm for 6 months.

> I was so upset I decided to end service with Ackerman. I called and CSR refused to end services and took all my complaints and said he would have a manager call me back. Marshalla (I don’t know how to spell her name) called me and said she could not wave $500 cancellation fee. I told her I am very unhappy with Ackerman and no longer want services and after this type of service the cancellation should be waived she refused.

> I decided to move on sept 3 2019 to 824 Barberry lane peachtree city GA 30269, and since I am being forced to keep horrible service I got an Ackerman salesman to see about my new place he said installation would be $500, I told him the situation of the horrible service being put on collections he said he would note the account and see if manager could wave installation fee. I never heard back from anyone so I called on Sept 6th and asked if it could be waived the CSR tried to get Marshalla on the phone and Marshalla told CSR to tell me she would call me back and she never called so I called again sept 9th and same thing she said she would call me back and she never did!!
